Morse code in the banner says "dropbox"

Why me lazy fucktard

fairly certain we use the email address provided in dropbox. now for the password!

Sorting the comments by the time they were posted you were the first to have solved the morse. Well done

Is it just me or is there anyone else here who is dumbfounded by the skills some people got over here. I only understood that it's the Morse code on the cover photo.

I am truly amazed by the work you all did! I had not much time to check everything. And the challenge is not finished yet

I LOVE SAILING
in the cesarean as hint. It uses every 7th letter.

Emm, there is a new file in dropbox.

The password of the dropbox with that email is ilovesailing and it contains

There's also a hello.rar file that's password protected.

Yes, also she's from germany.

Interesting, it cannot be uploaded to steemimg neither opened with traditional img viewer. the only thing i remark inside is that 0 and the 64 number that wasn't pixelated

Just get into the dropbox, i think its german, there is also a text with a password and an audio, im playing with the audio play speed but either im high either its german.

It's backwards. I JUST UPLOADED THE NEW UNREVERESED AUDIO TO DROPVOX

  ·  8 years ago (edited)

I wanted to play it backwards but since vlc doesn't have it im passing to bruteforce it (thanks google for finding me a cracker) and now atleast we have the hint that its only letters.
edit: By then i thought the audio hold the password of the text :P

  ·  8 years ago (edited)

nope, i can understand the kiss and the kinda bye at the end lol.

I freaking swear its saying hitler somewhere.

4c43883fa5 does that work?

Can you upload it to an image sharing site?

  ·  8 years ago (edited)

Doesn't work, you all can access the dropbox too, its [email protected]
ilovesailing
Ps: the account was per default in german but to stop fucking my mind up with the similarity to swedish i changed it into english, however you should change it back if you want the original look.

yeah seen after, lol.

So its insects that like sailing?

Well, im going to roll and smoke one maybe it helps :D

absolutely correct! well done: you but the hints together and brought us one step closer. 10 SBD for you. :)

The audiofile is distorted and in reverse. It says:

Hello dear Cryptofriend,
as you can hear i'm outside
Can you tell me where I am right now?
I need to know.
I will send you a picture of my location.
Do you know what this could be, and where?
Thank you my friend, I'm waiting for your response.

And before I forget to tell you, you know in which city I live, just have a look at my introduceyourself post. And I see a building with a lot of satellites on it. It says "studio". I can see some rails, probably trains.

--> He lives in Hamburg

You came so far. I am amazed by your skills my friend. But you came to an dead end.

  ·  8 years ago (edited)

Is that what is in the rar?

  ·  8 years ago (edited)

@reneenouveau why don't you share it with us then?

I just bruteforced it with english and german dictionaries, but the pw wasn't in there

Amazing! Very amazing coco. How did you find it? 10 SBD goes to you

Cool :)) I used many clues... I think I'll have to make a post about it

Yes please! Would love to see a post :)

Check the introduce yourself post.
Hello dear cryptofriends, I'm outside, can you tell me where I am right now, I need to know.
I will send a picture of my location
do you know what this could be and where?
thank you for my friend.

Its in germany.

Hamburg Airport?
Hamburg Subway station?
HafenCity U-Bahn station?

The Babelsberg Film Studio located in Potsdam-Babelsberg outside Berlin, Germany, is the oldest large-scale film studio in the world, producing films since ... i think its here, not sure why

We are getting upvoted from a dude named einstein potsdam and while googling studios germany on wikipedia that hit my eye.

There is also an Einstien Tower

Max Plank institute ?? molecular biology?? Thus the proteins.

no it should be in hamburg

Max Planck Research Unit for Structural Molecular Biology at DESY

is in Hamburg

150 Upvote Hint: Don't look forward. This challenge it's big. Let's make history

100 Upvote Hint: do not get distracted. The molecule is distraction as has nothing to do with the solution. Stick to the image in the Dropbox

Ah seriously thats the hint? I know nothing about molecules so i was just expecting someone else to find it, lol.

It's supposed to be a hint, not a solution :)

  ·  8 years ago (edited)

is that morse?
under crypto challenge?
or is it 010101 shit?
Also, the second picture seems to be a protein, aminoacid if im not wrong.

It's a protein that's been folded into it's tertiary structure.

specifically the tertiary structure....

which may mean binary > Ternary

Morse is correct

Nearly at 100 votes, good luck :)) xx

Aminosäuren und Proteine

http://www.chempage.de/theorie/protein.htm

• ionische Wechselwirkungen
• Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen
• van der Waals-Kräfte

Very interesting. I have a friend coming over to help me with this.

This is amazing!

Sound is in bold. might be a clue in the audio files. can't do that at work though....

I tried speeding up and down the speed but i still think we need german.

I deciphered it. made a new comment of it

That particular image of a protein is used in some pretty weird German articles.

"An orchid in America sends molecules that are to attract insects to come by and by the way make pollination. The Cosmic Spirit in the orchid has considering that it really wise would be the mosquitoes with integrating the far-reaching evolutionary purpose, retransmission, or pollination. Stupid thing is that mosquitoes are more into people whose blood they tap into. To find people who use various methods mosquitoes thermal imaging sensors and molecular receiver antennas that detect human scent. The orchid now easily produced human odor molecules and the "fukked" mosquitoes come in droves. The purpose of pollination they do so unconsciously, in which they have sought in bloom by man. Obviously the buffaloes was invented not only on human side, but in the plant and animal kingdom also available. "

to me Orchid reminds me of KillerInstict.

BlockchainJ

Bloody hell alright now Im caught up and it looks like we are stuck on BLOCKCHAINJ

I know that feeling! It's awful. Remember. There is always a solution, just like the last challenge seemed to be impossible.

Because you guys and of course girl do so great, I decided to pay out a reward even if you don't finish the challenge. Those who found of the latest hint I will receive a reward.

This is a freaking awesome and amazingly creative idea. I hope you keep doing these.

Thank you very much. There will at lest once a week a Steemit Crypo Challenge and in between some background :)

where do you send your conclusion, to the email above? I haven't played the first challenge :(

post it here.

conclusion? post it here.

Hey Mac-o,

when you found something just post it. I am having a look here and can't reply. But as I can see the others are doing great in helping too.

I recommend checking the first challenge as I will include the knowledge from previous challenges constantly.

gotcha, thanks all

The Crypto Challenge was a great idea! Interested to see if someone can solve it.
A pity you couldn't come yesterday, but see you next time at the real Meetup :)

Have you tried the coordinates as pass? Also the names of the building and stores near that pic.

I've got the password, the text file contains "You came so far. I am amazed by your skills my friend. But you came to an dead end." and a code.

What is the password? What is the code?

Im more interested to know how you got into the password than which is, im not home yet but in a bunch of hours ill be again on it.

The password is the actual place. It's "tonndorf"
The file inside says:

You came so far. I am amazed by your skills my friend. But you came to an dead end.
