Numerous Post Publication: What You Ought To Do

#Steemit only has an #edit button for posts #published. #Comments have both the #delete and edit buttons respectively. It so happens that once a post is published, one can only edit it but not ever delete it.

As I was musing over the new year and how fast it tends to roll by, the idea of the delete button on steemit posts crossed my mind. We are already on the 4th of January though we did #celebrate new year the other day. There are people still wishing me a happy new year and nobody is telling me how to delete a #post in steemit.

Once I lost my steemit #password. I had saved it in my phone but erroneously #formatted my phone and lost my lovely password. The loss was so great and I wept like a child. Losing the password was not as much as losing my steemit #reputation. Starting all over was the problem. It happened last year and I look back at it filled with pity.

When I finally found out where I backed my password, the eagerness to meet friends and write again possessed me and took control of my #senses. When I posted the first post, I received a message '#transcript #error'. I never knew what it was and the post remained in #draft form. I did it four times and gave up.

Upon checking, there were four similar posts that were posted. I searched futelessly for the delete button but in vain. The posts were there staring mencingly at me. I cried.

That is the time I met @cheatah for the first time. In my frantic effort to get the steemit #rule of never losing a password as steemit will not replace it, I had gone to a certain post to get it. My coping took the entire post without my knowledge. @Cheatah pointed this out. Those posts were staring accusingly at me. I became a copy #paste. What a name!

The accursed addition in the posts were deleted by me but the four posts were there. This is the cause for this post.

When you erroneously #publish a multiple or two of the same post, do not worry. Just hit on the edit button of each post you do not want. Delete the #content and #title of the accursed posts. Write a new title and content and hit the 'Update Post' so hard. You will have increased the number of posts. I feel like laughing.

A #misfortune can change to a #fortune. Have you heard of changing a #lemon to a #lemonade? That is what you will have done

Lesson learnt

• Never lose a password.

*Have a good backup for it.

• You can change a lemon to a lemonade.

• You can leave the posts like that. There is no penalisation for double or multiple of the same post on steemit.

• As is normal, once a post publishes, the draft disappears and you enter into new posts.

• if more publishes, it is not your mistake but a #glitch from the #site.

Have a lemonade steeming in steemit.
