[Small Trick] The Right Time To Publish Articles In Steemit, To Get Much Vote!

in steemiteducation •  7 years ago

Just create a good content isn't enough to get much Upvote in Steemit, even we have tons of follower, moreover if only a few. But, it does not mean that with a few followers we can not get many votes, especially human votes and not robot's.

However, something interesting no one would be interested in if nobody saw it, right? At least, that's the experience I got so far, as a beginner in steemit, who still have a few followers.

So, what can we do to get around that? Believe that every problem there must be a way out. All we need is just a small trick.

Actually, it's just a matter of time. We must present something at the right time. Like ancient people said: "if you want to sell ice cream, make sure the weather was hot at the time". That's it.

The first thing you should be sure is, when usually people go for relax: Get coffee and reading, or take a time for surfing on the internet.

Each region of course has different time (hours), referring to GMT. So that, you should to customize the content you want to sell in order to align with its own market segment.

For example, if you want to steal the attention of the Indonesian, then it's goodto publish your content at 13.00 or 19:00 pm in Indonesia time (GMT + 7) and vice versa.

if you want to be familiar with the difference of hours, across countries in the world, please refer to the following webs:

  1. https://greenwichmeantime.com/timepiece/world-clock/world/ ;
  2. https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ .

That's a small trick I can share to you (especially for minnows like me) at this time, may be useful. Thanks for reading and don't forget to leave your comment.

Thanks for the information, im going to try that.

Good post. Subject is precious for Steemit users . But the pertinent question is how to implement as the followers are spread over the globe????

Every post we made is potential to spread worldwide, but the problem is, sometimes we often forget to focus on working on a particular area more leverage. As the saying goes, "mosqito across the ocean we can see, but the elephant in the eyelid is not visible to us"...;)

Agree with u. But my concern is how we could be able to find the best option or timing. Just a concern though..

Thoughtful. Agree with you, timing is also important to reach maximum audience. It is indeed important for any post on any social media platform.

It would be great if Steemit or busy.org can provide 'schedule post', something similar to Wordpress blog options.

@lifecruiser | that's right my bro...rightnow all we can do is to use some tools who has provded by some developer like Streemian, etc. While we're waiting for updates on steemit or busy, I geuess ;)

Thanks for stopping in my post, bro...😀

Welcome =)

Nice post bro

Thanks for ur feedback bro...😀

Interesting view on timing. I live in GMT and what I have found is that it doesn't seem to matter when I post. I get upvotes for about six hours afterwards and then that's it. People who upvote come from all over. What I take from this is that you might set out to "capture" interest in a specific gegraphical area, write posts to suit and then post at the best time.

The problem is, when our post is not running at the right time, it will be overwritten by recent posts from others, so that it will escape the attention of the audience.

Good to think about this. What is your take on tagging? Do you go for the most popular tags and take the chance of being overrun and not seen. Or do you choose less frequent tags? I noticed the tags on this article are ones I don't normally see. The only difference is I picked this up on Busy.org.

I think that's depending on the situation. For example, if we run base on a community tag -- even less frequent-- that's no problem for sure, because there has its own audience.
