The world is becoming increasingly sophisticated. Scientists have certainly been doing a good job in creating a variety of electronic products that can help facilitate and accelerate the progress of the community.
In today's world the term "gadget" is fairly common. It refers to a practical device that is often designed with sophisticated technology. Some examples of the common gadgets we use today are: laptops, MP3 players, digital cameras, and tablet computers. Additionally, just about everyone you see today uses a mobile phone which we refer to these days as a "smartphone".
Today's gadgets are not just for adults though. Students often use a variety of devices without fully understanding their impact. Sometimes a parent or teacher will have to step in to limit the use of the gadget so that it does not become harmful to the student.
Using gadgets can have various different impacts.
POSITIVE IMPACTS
1 - Gadgets can make it easier for students to connect with their peers. In this manner they can exchange ideas or opinions about their education.
2 - Even if a parent or relative is some distance from the student, with a gadget he or she can effectively communicate with them as though they were in the same room together.
3 - Using a gadget, a student is able to consult material that is outside the scope of the teacher's curriculum. This can broaden the student's horizons.
4 - Having access to gadgets can increase the student's knowledge about newly developed technology.
NEGATIVE IMPACTS
1 - Using a gadget like a smartphone can open the student up to variety of applications and games that are not school related. For example, the popular game "Mobile Legends" is played by so many students that it has become a well known distraction. These sorts of games and applications can detract from the student's ability to concentrate in school.
2 - Often times these gadgets are used to communicate with peers in ways that don't relate to school work. While being social can be a good thing, it can also step in the way of the student's ability to study properly.
3 - Certain gadgets contain various aspects that can be detrimental to a person's physical health. By staring at the small screen on a smartphone all day long a student's vision can become impaired.
4 - It is also possible that the use of gadgets can negatively affect a student's behavior in ways that he or she is not even aware of.
These are just a few of the positive and negative effects that gadgets can have on a student's well being.
In conclusion, we must be diligent in limiting the use of gadgets while also knowing the appropriate time to use them. In this manner we can hope to achieve our goals and boost the productivity of our country

Scientists really did a great job in making all these electronics products in making life easier to live but unfortunately we allow these products to make us lazy 😔 . Most students abuse these gadgets like going to facebook in class on their smartphones!
I support the limiting of student's access to electronics gadgets.

Awesome post very informative. I think that if we use technology in the right way it can be very useful. Unfortunately it is often overused. The ammount of time people wast on mindless activities on their screens is staggering
