The saying CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME had been used on many occasions.

When you are well behaved in the society, behave well in school, kind to both your families and outsiders, respect everybody you come across, then they say CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME and also when you commit a crime in the society, takes what doesn't belong to you or lie,

talk to people in a very wrong way, when you disrespect elders,
when you lack morals,

then they say "CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME".

But have we ever thought of the real meaning of this Phrase?

Looking at what charity means (The attitude of being kind and understanding to others) people give this phrase the meaning of being kind to your family members(your children,your wife,your mother,your father etc.) before extending to outsiders, they should be the number one in your list CHARITY. Looking after your own kids, families an down circles first and then be kind to people which is not the real meaning of the proverb. Even if this should be the meaning of this Proverb that Charity Begins At Home then it shouldn't stop there.

The original meaning is that Children should learn Charity and good attitude from Home. Because the translation of this Proverb in YORUBA says **(Ile la tin ko eso rode: Meaning: every good attitude is from home).

some people do say when you are not good indoor then you cannot be good outside.

Truly, Charity Begins At Home 🏡, but it is either a positive or a negative one. But would you ever believe that almost 50% of what children do outside their homes is directly or indirectly gotten from their parents.

Some parents do things in the presence of their children without minding the memories it would leave in them.

Attitudes and behaviours from parents are in two ✌ ways.

Directly gotten in a situation whereby, the parents are the one whom teaches or encourage this attitudes, they never see anything wrong in the way they train or treat their children. Children learn this from them thinking it's right 👉 and on a normal circumstances it's not.

Indirectly, in the sense that, the parents doesn't teach, encourage or train them but they pass it to them Indirectly by practicing these things.

Whether Directly or Indirectly, It could be POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE.

Parents/Guidance and all anticipating parents should try as much as possible 🙆 to give their children good home training because it takes a person far in life.

Do the right thing in their presence because children don't forget what you do or say to them and they will always represent you everywhere they go.
