Please help children if they are pressured by their peers

 Yesterday I wrote how to make a happy family, by teaching children from very young to help around the house and do chores.

 If you are a good parent you will know your children well and immediately know when something is wrong. Talk to your child and find out what is going on.

Sometimes the stresses at school can make them feel lost and they fall into a group where you do not want them to be. 

As I said being a good parent you will know and start looking out for things they are doing that you are not use to.

Some children try and get into a group just to be popular and this can bring them into a lot of trouble. There are definitely children who use drugs and smoke and they are normally the ones who make life difficult for your child. 

Pier pressure is a terrible thing for a child, and you must try to help them immediately. You do not want to let your child that you love so much get into trouble just because they want to fit in with a group. Once a child start using drugs he or she is really in trouble. 

They do not know how to stop and they really need a lot of love and attention. If you find that one of your children have this problem, you must become very vigilant and check their rooms for drugs and things that you might find hard to experience but if you do not do that you will not be able to help this child.

Children with drug problems are feeling lonely at home or they start going out more so that you do not know about it.

As parents it is our job to make sure they get all the help they can get as soon as possible. Most of us think that this will never happen to my child but we can be so wrong. 

Visit the school and find out from the teacher if they are having problems with the child.

 If they are, you must take this child to someone who will help them as you cannot you are to near to the problem and it will be very difficult for you to help them. 

There are so many places where you can send your child to get the help they need.  The one thing you must never do is leave these children to themselves. When you put them into a place where they can get help, follow all the rules of the institution but make sure that your child never forgets that you love him or her, and that is why they have to go through this. 

The sooner you help them the easier it will be for them as well as for you. 

Never think it cannot happen to you as you are not with the child all the time. I hope it never happens, but if it does because life has changed so much and children think that for them to fit in they have to do what these children are doing. There are institutions that help them, but once they are allowed to come home make sure that they stay on the straight and narrow. Do not let them bluff you, and have them tested for drugs regularly. 

It really sounds cruel but your child is your most wonderful possession and that is the reason that you have to be hard on them sometimes. 

I really hope you never go through this, as I did not, but have seen people who really got broken down, and they lost their family just because of this. Once your child does realise how fortunate they are that you helped them they will really try not to make you sad again. 

That is why I wrote yesterday how important family is and how to be an example instead of just telling them what to do. When you are a good example chances are that your child will definitely not land up in trouble because they learnt from you how to live life. 

I really hope this helped a bit, and if you have a problem child make a point of doing everything in your power to make their lives right again. There are so many children landing up in trouble by stealing to get money for their drugs and other things and this can land them in jail. 

Nobody wants to visit their child in jail, especially if you did not try to help them when you realised that something was very wrong with them.

This is possible because these people selling them drugs know how important it is to them and get a hold on them. 

They can make them do anything to be able to get hold of what drug they need. This is so depressing, but it does not have to happen if you watch and know your child well.
