Teach your children to pack their own lunch box for school.
As they get a bit bigger or, even if they watch you while they are small will give them an idea of how to make their own lunch for school.
Today I am going to put a few ideas in here that will really teach them how to make some food and how to pack their lunch box.
When children pack their own food you can be sure they are not wasted, a child will only packs what they like.

The way you can assure that they eat decent is by buying the right type of food for them to pick from.
They must have a juice or a bottle of water, as they really need this and then they have to pick things you are not worried about.

I am going to pick some food ideas for you and that will make it easier for you to choose what to give them to choose from.
It is very good for children to have some good food to eat at school, and then check their lunch boxes when they get home.
If they do not eat what they packed, you must make sure that they do not pack it again as this is a waste of money. Children who pack their own lunches will also learn how much to pack as they know how hungry they get at school. Smaller children you can help and remember they have tiny stomachs to eat with so do not overdo it and let them enjoy what you pack for them.
I am not going to tell you how to pack as I am sure you will know but at least you have some ideas to see what are in the lunch boxes.
There might be a lot of pictures but it is just an idea of how they should look, and try to make them do a new idea every day.

Lunch at school is very important as they really do not always eat enough breakfast to last them for the time at school.
When they have extracurricular activities make them do 2 lunch boxes so that they will have something to eat once they go for their rugby or netball or whatever they are going to do.

If you like this idea you will realise that this is just another way of teaching children not to waste money or food. When they buy food at school it can become very expensive while it normally is stuff that is fattening and they do not need to eat that if they pack their own.

It is another chore for them that they might actually enjoy. Sometimes we have left over food that they like very much and they can even pack some of that.
