Dear teaching friends, we must feel the need for imagination to occupy an important place in our classrooms. It is time to reflect on our teaching practice in the face of the challenge of "telling a story".
We always "use" literary texts with different purposes (underline the verb, look for words with h, proper names, characters, time, place ...) but, it's time to enjoy those texts as they are, without any other objective what a pleasure.
A story allows us to find words and silence anywhere in a time without a clock.

The tales
- Stimulate thinking, understanding, imagination and creativity.
- Awaken the capacity of amazement and surprise.
- Promotes values
- Expands vocabulary, oral, written and reading.
- Traditional stories connect them with the deepest roots of their community.
- They give pleasure.
The stories guarantee an intrinsic, motivating, meaningful and constructive learning, even if they are read, narrated, heard from a CD, observed in an illustration, played with puppets or dramatized.
Stories must occupy in the life of children an important place of recreation and play a fundamental role in psychological, intellectual and spiritual growth, for the wealth they offer.
