Sometimes we face situations that demand us to take immediate action or to have patience. And the difficult part is to decide which option is the proper one.

We can be reckless and always act on the spur of the moment or we can let time pass as well as the importunity to get the best of each situation. So, knowing becomes crucial. But how can we know when it is the right moment to act or to wait.

IF I had the answer, I'd never fail in anything. But since we're all humans, we need to fall in order to get up stronger. So, What I can do is to evaluate the possible circumstances of the options.

Taking immediate action

Taking action means to never fall asleep when the moment requires us to do something. This specially reflexes in the common endeavors people promise to make, but all winds up is just blank talking.

When we want something done - a change or anything - we have to move. It doesn't matter how things will turn up, but the important thing is to try to make it happen.

There are situations that screen at us. They tell us to move... like when a rock is coming straight toward our face, we just need to move.

Having patience

Naturally, it's not wise to act prematurely in all situations. There are times when a moment of reasoning is understandable. When something is going on, and we don't have all the things clear, that is data and causes, it's pertinent to take a moment to analyze things.

Because if we rush on something we don't have any idea yet, we're definitely aiming for failure. We could emerge victorious if we are lucky. However, the odds would be against us.

Thus, having patience is not bad thing after all. What we need to have first is some data to begin working on.

Think!

The moment of patience is the time to think. Doing nothing doesn't mean that we have to be completely inactive. Our mind must be looking for best approaches, always reasoning and collecting alternatives for solutions.

Often, we mistake the pause for just a resting, which might be good if we're stressed or tired. But as I've implied, the moment of patience is actually a moment of thinking.

The best intentions

I started above by declaring that it is always hard to know precisely which approach we should take. But if we always have in mind productivity, always being positive, we can tip the scale in our favor.
