Doing the same thing in a long time and repeatedly will certainly cause a sense of boredom. Boredom arises because the brain always wants to be transposed by something new so that when the brain does not get something new then the brain will be saturated. Boredom arose.
In the course of the routine of course everyone will feel bored. Workers in the office will definitely feel bored with his job. Even the fry potatoes will get bored of putting potatoes in hot oil. That boredom also arises in the teaching profession. A teacher will definitely get bored in teaching.
Teaching the same thing for many years will certainly cause a sense of saturation. For example a math teacher has always taught about integral for decades it must be the teacher will be bored and need new things. That is normal.
But of course very unfortunate when teachers get bored then the teacher will feel lazy to teach. So that students will be harmed. Well, what should the teacher do when he is bored in teaching? Here are some tips and things to watch out for.
Professional
Being a teacher means to work as a teacher. This certainly requires professionalism in work. A professional teacher certainly should not teach arbitrarily but there must be rules obeyed. Code of ethics in becoming a teacher must be held. A teacher should be professional at work and waste all thoughts about boredom.
Find New Things
Teaching a lesson does not have to be confined in the course. A creative teacher will certainly find new things about the lessons he taught. Teachers should keep learning about their knowledge and keep learning new things. With so many new things the teacher will not feel stopped at one point.
Associate With Today
A teacher who teaches a subject must understand the latest news. It will make him not bored and caught up with the knowledge possessed. A teacher should be able to relate the lesson he taught to the events that occur today.
For example a history teacher who teaches about world war. The teacher must be able to relate past historical events to contemporary events. For example the possibility of a third world war with all possibilities. It will make the teacher feel enthusiastic and unsaturated.
Pause
Sometimes boredom when teaching appears unnoticed. Sometimes the boredom arises when a teacher is in the classroom. Sense of boredom is not only felt by students but also felt by the teacher. Well, when the sense of boredom is very deep then it is better stop teaching for a moment. Take the time to interact with students openly. Build communication. Make them inspired by the stories they have not been with. Simple for a moment a textbook and talk to them. That would be fun.
Holiday
Well, this is a very nice thing. When tired of working and take time for a vacation. It will be very delicious. A few days' vacation will make you feel fresh and will spirited again to work. Take a vacation if the work is very sick. A teacher can enjoy her vacation time with friends or family or just by herself.
Those are some things that should be considered by a teacher if he felt bored in teaching. Hopefully this article useful.

Such great points. I have been teaching for 10 years and I have tough many different things over the years. I have taught Grades 2 and 3, I have been a Learning Support Teacher, thought English to French Immersion students and now I am teaching middle school students (Gr. 8). It never gets boring when you are doing new things all the time. I have worked with and know a few teachers who have been teaching the exact same thing for what seems like forever. They have been teaching it so long they could do it in their sleep and they have every possible material and supplement you could ever need already prepared. One teacher in particular has their entire year mapped out and nothing ever changes from year to year. I get that this is "easy" but I would be mind numbingly bored if nothing ever changed other than the kids. On top of that, I feel like this is a narrow minded view from those who call themselves educator. The world of education is constantly evolving and we as teacher need to learn and grow with it. If we are so set in our ways and rigid in our teaching then how can we ever become better at our craft and furthermore how can we ever expect our students to be open minded learners.
Great post!!! Thanks for sharing.
