Nowadays, technology has become an indispensable part of our life, both to communicate and to study. It has made us the easiest tasks and the innovation that we see today allows us to find the information needed to develop our academic activities.
Currently there are many teachers who have chosen to support their classes mediate new technologies, and students use this to improve their qualifications, today I want to talk about some advantages that we can obtain through the use of technology.
Advantages of studying through ICT?
Today we can define ICT as ¨La Information and Communication Technologies, these with all those resources, through tools or program that we are allowed to use to process, manage and share all information through various technological supports, among the which we can name computers, cell phones, televisions, portable audio and video players or game consoles, among others.
One of the most important characteristics that we can define for ICT is that they allow us to have a better learning 24 hours a day, or the time you have, the students do not have to wait so long to receive the classes as they do not have to wait to attend go to class, you can have access to knowledge through your computer, a tablet or your Smartphone, you can also get in touch with the teacher who is responsible for the subject outside academic hours and without having to attend a tutoring session on a daily basis.
Through the use of ICT students can have their notes on their mobile devices, being able to study either in public transport or in the free time they have left between classes.
Hiy in day technology has reached so much that it is not necessary to be connected to a network to the Internet, there are tools that are used simply by downloading the application without additional cost, and so easily study anywhere, and offline time.
ICT also allows us to interact with other users without type of limit in geographical barriers. Students from all over the world can participate together in the same course, no matter how far they may be. This in turn allows us to reduce the difficulties we may have in any subject, because we can ask, inquire about any doubts we have and anybody who has more Knowledge in the area of difficulty can advise us,The only thing we all need is a mobile device and a teacher to keep the activity in order, this in turn improves integration and better knowledge of different cultures, which reduces racism and discrimination.
Social networks, although they can also have their negative parts in the way of studying, these are beneficial in a certain way, since they serve as discussion platforms to raise debates, or social groups through different institutions where both students and teachers can participate, which use this method to solve the doubts of their students, create new discussion topics and encourage the participation of young people, it only depends on the use you give to these solitary tools, you will get the results you want, and so you will have them in your hand to reduce deficiencies in classrooms, and improve the education system.
