School failure, what are the causes of this situation? Below I present the ones that I consider are the main ones, however, these causes usually vary depending on the conditions and situations that arise within each school and each family environment:

What is school failure?

First let's start by defining what school failure is, when a child is not able to reach the level of average performance expected for their age and pedagogical grade, we speak of school failure. The only criteria that is used today to determine the success or failure of a student are the grades. It is possible that this method of evaluation should be reviewed and is one of the reasons that explain this failure.

An interesting fact in this regard is that children have a higher percentage in terms of falling into school failure about 41%, compared to 29% of girls.

What are the main causes of school failure?

Some of the main causes that could explain the school failure are the following:

• One of the most outstanding is in Secondary, although it has been developed during the last years of Primary. These are the learning problems that certain children present, which do not advance at the pace of others and have great difficulties, especially in regard to reading comprehension and mathematical calculations. This is why it is important to maintain a healthy and balanced diet that energizes and encourages the child to go to school.

• The children with absence of affection in their family or the most overprotected, insecure or hyperactive can present difficulties. Even minors who have suffered some loss or are under the education of very severe parents.

• On the other hand, it can happen that many school children do not know how to study or have someone to teach them properly. To achieve success, study must be turned into a habit. Many times, it is also intended that all students perform equally, asking for tasks that, perhaps, may highlight something complex for their intellectual maturation. How to avoid school failure?

When a teenager is in his training period, there are many factors that must be taken into account so that his training is optimal. That is why today I want to introduce you to those most important elements when it comes to leading the student life of a teenager and so we can ask ¿how to avoid school failure?

I repeat, there is a great variety of elements that make up the school stage of young people, so we must pay close attention to all of them to avoid school failure as much as possible.
