A Trapezoid and A Parallelogram

Today we start to classify quadrilaterals. We can classify them based on parallel and perpendicular sides and types of angles they contain. We will discuss one attribute today which is parallel sides. Based on parallel sides we can name two types of quadrilaterals and they are Trapezoids and Parallelograms.

Below are activity sheets explaining these two. After understanding about a trapezoid and a parallelogram can you draw one trapezoid and one parallelogram.
