Place Value to Millions - Knowing the Larger Numbers

We keep our journey to know about writing and naming the larger numbers using a place value chart using base 10. We will learn how to write numbers up to Hundred Millions in words, in standard form, in place value form and finally in expanded form.

Remember when a number represents millions it can have seven to nine digits in it. I have prepared the following introductory activity sheets to jump start the concept.

Now, can you write 8 275 137 in words and then in place value form and expanded form?

Beautiful explanation by the place value chart @mathworksheets.
For no.8 275 137: I have tried to write down in three forms as below :
Word Form:
Eight millions Two hundred seventy five Thousands One hundreds thirty seven.

Expanded Form:
8 000 000+ 200 000+ 70 000+ 5 000+ 100 + 30 +7.

Place value form:
8 Millions+ 2 Hundred Thousands + 7 Ten Thousands + 5 Thousands + 1 hundreds + 3 Tens + 7 Ones.
While solving above example I get to know how hard is it to creat such an awesome post. Thanks for your valuable time and efforts to make your posts interesting.
