Teaching children to recycle

One of the most important values we can teach our children is recycling, we must teach them how important it is to care for and respect the environment and nature. We must educate children from a young age, whether at home or at school.

Teaching how to respect the environment, how to recycle waste and what we can do for the preservation of nature, are excellent lessons that both parents or teachers can sow in those children who are the future of the world. During their growth they will have that mentality of caring for and preserving the environment that is so essential for our health and life on this planet.

What materials or waste can we recycle?
To begin our teaching of recycling, we can use, reuse, reduce and recover those wastes, pieces of materials that we use so much in the classroom as:

1-Paper
2-Cardboard
3-Plastic containers
4-Palettes

Children love to create, color, cut, make objects with their own hands and according to their tastes, and this something that we should take advantage of.
What can we create with the aforementioned recycling materials? Here are some ideas:

We can reuse paper cuttings to create a nice tree of colors, or also make decorations for the classroom.

How important it is to recycle!
If we teach all children in all parts of the world to recycle, resources are saved, pollution is reduced, deforestation is avoided, the life of materials is extended even with different uses, energy is saved, with only reducing, reuse, recycle and recover.
