Teach your child how to do Algebra in a simple way

Before you can start with algebra you first have to get your mindset right. Tell yourself that it is easy. I will show you how to do it.

Understand the operation of the straight line with the positive and negative numbers and you will not have a problem with algebra.

In the middle of the lines is a 0 which separates the positive figures from the negative figures.

In other words, we can put a plus sign between each digit.

On the negative side we do exactly the same.

STEP 1: Take out all the positive numbers. Count them together and write down your answer with a big plus.

STEP 2: Do the same with the negative numbers.

Subtract the largest number from the smallest number and keep the sign of the largest number and that is your answer.

The method below was how it was taught to me in school and it is just more difficult to understand.
