When students hit the teacher (a phenomenon)

Yesterday I read the news about the death of a teacher being hit by his students. From some news that I read, a teacher named Budi tried to advise his students (initials HI) so as not to disturb his friends who are studying. Several times HI was advised by Budi, but HI ignored him.

Then Budi painted MHL's cheek. Budi was currently teaching art lessons in the classroom. Apparently HI did not accept Budi treatment. Then a fight between HI and Budi happened. The students and teachers tried to break the fight.

Budi explained the problem that happened to the principal. When Budi came home, he rested. Suddenly he complained in pain. Not long after, Budi was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, Budi's life is not helped. Doctors stated Budi suffered blood clot to the brain

This incident certainly very tarnished the world of education in our country. I as a teacher feel very sad.

Why did it happen?

Psychologically, this child tends to maintain his self-esteem. But the way he did was a mistake. A child who prefers violence rather than a persuasive approach easily takes the wrong decision. For example, fighting or physical violence.

The way of thinking done by the child is very distorted. This can certainly harm the future of the child. If not handled seriously, I am afraid, this child will often go in and out of prison for his violent behavior.

In addition, parenting patterns also greatly affect the behavior of the child. Parents become role models for their children. If a child is accustomed to violence at home, wherever he is, he will make a decision through violence.

What about educational institutions? School is a place for children to acquire knowledge and character formation of children. This incident should not happen in the school environment. I am not saying that schools have failed to educate this child. But we have to look at the background of children initials HI.

HI is a martial arts athlete. His martial arts have defeated the value of virtue. Perhaps, any martial art athletes would not agree with HI's attitude. My conclusion is that HI is psychologically disturbed. HI has taken the wrong attitude when in a situation that has been harassing his pride.

I know, every martial art has rules and principles in which to teach the valeus of virtue. But HI is not able to absorb the virtue values.

This is a homework for the government in our country. The government must make laws that prioritize character education for children. So, the government not only demands children to pass with certain values.
