Start blogging better than I did - Newbie tips/guides

NEWBIES SHOULD READ TIPS AND GUIDES BEFORE BLOGGING

In my brief stay on Steemit (28 days as of this writing), I'm but just a newbie just like many others but I've already seen quite a number of guides and tips for a beginner like me. No one introduced me into this great platform so I have no idea on how to start. I had to look for tips/guides that could help me create a good kickoff but I did that after like a week or two after joining and I regret that I didn't take the time to read helpful blogs at first.

I am writing this blog hoping to reach other newbies and so they can start better than I did. It's from how to make your blog look professional up to how you can earn on this platform.

I've gathered all these guides and tips that I've read and applied which I know it can also be of great help to all beginners. I wasn't able to find them in one sitting. I had to search as I encounter the need to do so. 😁

In this blog, I think you can have most of the things a newbie needs to know for a great start.

MAKING YOUR BLOG LOOK PROFESSIONAL

You can make your blog look professional too just like others do. You don't need to be a programmer to do that these days. Even if you aren't good at coding, there's a lot of these written codes ready to be copied and edited. In time, you'll get used to it and you'll see it wasn't as hard as you'd think. You just need to read, have persistence, and practice.

AVOID MAKING MISTAKES

Unfortunately, I have already experienced everything mentioned in the blog below before seeing it and I can no longer edit them. One example is a blog that I wrote 10 days ago. I want to delete it but there's no option to do that. So hopefully you get to read this before making a mistake.

  • 5 IRREVERSIBLE ACTIONS ON STEEMIT YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL ABOUT by @ayushjalan
  • One more tip which I always do. Write your blog using a notepad (if you're using a PC) or any equivalent tools for writing documents or Keep (on Android devices). This way, you can save time editing your blog. It can also help you commit minimal errors like grammar and spelling when editing on the Steemit markdown editor. It's also relevant and useful to save your footer code in a separate copy in a notepad or in a Keep note then just copy-paste it in your new post.

EARNING ON STEEMIT

This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. I have never seen something like that in my 35 years of existence. You have to work on it and invest time and your best effort. Laziness and unwillingness to learn will lead you to nothing.

Of course read the FAQ and Welcome page because it gives everyone knowledge about eSteem and Steemit. Reading and understanding them can help you a lot. This is true not only on Steemit but to every endeavor you would want to take.

Knowledge is power.

To all the Stemian authors whom I have mentioned here, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without your posts, my blogs could have been so boring till now. I've had a great time reading your informative blog. I feel moved in writing this blog from your tips/guides for other beginners in hope that they will start their blog much better than I did. One again, thank you! ♥️

I know these are not everything a newbie needs to know but I guess it's already enough to give them knowledge on how to have a good start. If you know something that we can add, please feel free to comment. Also, kindly show your kindness by upvoting my blog.

Also, is there anyone out there who creates an animated banner for free or anything in return except cash? 😁 I can be reached on Steem chat as @renzo or via discord as @rbcboy. Just invite me on discord. Much thanks in advance!
