It has just come to my mind that being a seafarer is a very lonesome profession
Despite of all the beautiful places we've been through at the end of the day we're still alone in our own personal spaces.
Have we also ask our how your husband father, son, boyfriend manage their life at sea? I think its time also to widen our understanding, strengthen the trust and show our support and appreciation instead of complaining of what we dont have but be thankful instead of what kind of husband, partner and father we had. I know these face of stories seldomly known to other simply because we havent heard us complaining and you always see us smile and will just said everything is alright. Specially when this pandemic started all restrictions and permits to have a leeway to ease the loneliness at sea has been revoke, so here we are just staring and wide vast ocean hoping and thinking "how is my family doing right now?".
Well i know all seafarers can relate on how was life at sea and what pressure it can bring.
We are just hoping to go home safe and well rested and just to be with our precious family..
Kudos to all seafarers and Ofw's out there
GODSBLESS us all
