What do you get when you mix all 3 primary colours together while painting? Brown!! And #photography is "painting with light", so here's my first of three entries for this weeks #steemitphotochallenge - macro shot in primary colours (mixed primary colours!) - there's actually a little yellow left not mixed in ;)
Dragonfly
Dragofly, shot in the Wilds of Inner City Sydney. It's amazing what you can find hiding out in a built up urban environment!
Camera: Canon EOS 350D (yes a 10 year old camera! I need an upgrade!)
Lens: Canon 100mm macro, shot @f2.8 (which give nice blurring of the background (or bokeh), especially when focused so closely)
ISO: 100
Natural light, with levels & curves adjusted in PhotoShop
pretty cool capture, the background makes it look as though it is in flight. and your use of primary colors is amazing. Reminds me of my painting days when my final product, was a gallery of brown canvases, :D

Cheers! The background is actually a "brushwood fence". Fortunately it's just far enough away that it blurred nicely with the wide aperture.
