Growing up in the city, we didn't see much of the countryside.
This little pocket of bushland was special. It was only small and five minutes from our house, but once inside it felt like the world was your and yours only. You couldn't hear the highway, which was just over the hill, and from our secret spot, you couldn't see a single building.
Everything felt so much easier in there. It had it's own reverence. These shots remind me of the better pieces of my childhood.
These photos were taken with my mums instant camera. I have no idea what it was. I have no concept of aperture, shutter speed, exposure, film etc. I do know that they were taken old school with film, and I developed them at school.
...and yes, they are photos of photos.
I know they aren't winners, that cool. This challenge just reminded me of our little haven, our very own spot of countryside :)
