Hi Steemians!
I'm sharing with you one of my pictures when I went to the Argentinian Patagonia and visited the Perito Moreno glacier, one of the 48 glaciers in the zone. This glacier seems to be increasing its size or at least is in equilibrium the year around. It's 5 Km wide, raising 75 m above the lake Argentino with an actual depth between 170 and 700 m.
There are multiple wood platforms to appreciate the magnificent glacier from a safe distance : when sections of the glacier melt and broke off the shattered ice can be sent to the shore at very high speed.
After walking along the platforms and taking hundred of pictures I went to the complete opposite side and walked off the track to get a different view.

How impressive to see the great mass of ice
