Car and truck restoration for some of the old vehicles, brings great pride to the owners, and for many impressed lookers here in the states. I believe, based on your post alone. It has a world wide interest. Many investors buy vintage old cars and trucks, as a means to store wealth.
Imagine that. Wealth you can actually look at and enjoy. And share the same beauty with others also. It is a win situation.
History will then be remembered. Such as the restoration of your pictured Saab.

I sure hope so, the amount of videos I've seen of awesome, iconic cars crumbling away with the owners refusing to sell them, lying to themselves that they'll fix them up and just leaving them. Criminal.

True that. I think this one will do OK, though. At some point in our conversation, the owner gave me a conspiratory look and beckoned me over to a large shed. I am not wont to follow men who do that, but I am glad I did this time: the shed was full of perfectly restored Saabs of all imaginable types.
