Ahhh! Still one day behind... Day 74 to follow today!
I hope you enjoy today's (I mean yesterday's) piece...
I refer to a current favourite song of mine's lyrics for moral support -
"I know times are rough....
But winners don't quit...
So don't you give up."

Today's piece was inspired by free-writing... Because I couldn't think of much to write about that I haven't yet... and nothing was coming out...
So I decided to free-write a piece about free-writing. This was taught to me as 'morning pages' many years ago in a book called 'The Artist's Way' - as a method of getting yourself into a creative flow state and also releasing any blocks that might be holding you back.
It's amazing, and I figure you could do the same with any tool that you may use to get creative with.
Give it a go :)

Write Free
Or paintbrush to canvas,
Or knife to clay,
Or chisel to stone.
And just go.
Just let it flow.
Don’t interrupt with your ego...
Don’t worry about the end product,
Or where it’s going,
Or what it should be...
Just go.
Just keep moving....
Because this will force you into somewhat of a -
Flow State.
Your intuition increases...
Your fear decreases,
And you just never know quite what
You might create.
You may surprise yourself,
At the unknown treasures that you find within.
You may find yourself,
Masterfully penning the next great play,
Writing a song,
Or just scribbling away...
Either way it’s so good for the soul
To just let yourself create.
Without a reason needed or an outcome required.
The piece at the end doesn’t have to admired.
It may never see the light of day,
But your soul will have danced today...
Because our souls are just like children -
They like to play.
