I am combining my Arts & Humanities degree with my Steemit blog.
So last month was an extraordinary month, to say the least, and I don't make life easy for myself as I can be a little too ambitious at times. One play, One novel, One holiday and my work to squeeze in around all that. Now this month I have to find time for studies...oh boy. And to top it all off, my son, @sammywright, is also studying the same degree as me (although he is specialising in classical studies, and I am philosophy and creative writing) and is already bragging about being halfway through his first assignment.
He hasn't started blogging properly yet as he wants to get it right and create the right blog. Just history buffs apparently. Not like his blabbermouth mother.
We are encouraged to blog as it enables us to learn and massage that writing part of our brain, I have certainly learnt a lot from my blogs on here.
To study I believe I have to live it as well and being a kinetic learner (I like to experience things to learn) I have used Steemit to enable my creative writing pieces... my blogs, which have worked well for me.
So getting prepared for my Steemit Study
The plan:
- Blog everyday on Steemit either through @sarahewaring or @aubreyfox.
- Allocate 18 hours a week STRUCTURED study time (I failed to get any kind or order last year and got through most of my assignments by the skin of my teeth) I might pick Wednesdays and Thursday as It is quieter days at work.
- Have study outings with my son- We both have to study art history- so why not take in some of the sights...and blog about it too.
- Read stuff I don't normally read relating to the course- Ok, obvious I know, but some stuff makes me want to poke myself in the eye with a sharp pencil.
- Write blogs about the subject areas- Not the assignment itself, obvs!
And there is my study steemit plan. Tada....
