[STEEMJET WEEKLY REPORT #2] - Delegatee stats (Plus a contest inside)

in steemjet •  7 years ago

It's that time again! Time for my weekly status report on all Space Force members specifically on their voting behaviours to see how they are using @dimimp's generous delegation.

To reiterate, the main goal of this report is:

  1. To see whom among the delegatees are still active on the platform
  2. To monitor the voting activity of all Space Force members
  3. To encourage and remind all Space Force members to spread the Steem to as many as possible and not just within theirselves

But before we dig in to the stats. Let us first welcome the new addition to the Space Force:

@yungchief, @mistakili, @jacobite, @dannytroniz, @annyvery1

The five of them received a generous delegation from our boss @dimimp just this week. A delegation of 600SP to each of them. Congratulations guys!

Wanna be next? If you think you have what it takes to be a Space Force member, then I invite you all to join the most awesome community ever on the Platform, "SteemJet". You can read most details of what SteemJet is here: STEEMJET GUIDE: An article to explain what steemjet is all about or check our boss @dimimp's blog posts. Plus, A very easy little contest is found below, check that out! :)
Now unto the numbers! To understand the report below:

Make sure to maximize the window to see the whole table. Zooming out also helps if you are on mobile.

To reiterate again, the numbers above are taken from May 04 2018 to May 11 2018. That is around two weeks ago. The reason for this is to make sure that payout is done, since some of the Space Force members might "unvote" or the post they upvoted might get flagged by others. Thus to ensure that the data is close to accurate, we get the numbers after the payout is made. Also if you have received your delegation late (this week or the previous week) then your numbers above might seem low.

Conclusion:

Inactivity

I'm still not really sure as to what number we can all agree to declare an account inactive, but judging from the numbers above, there are around 10 Space Force members who cast less than 25 votes during that week. Be more active my fellow Space Force members! :)

Self-upvoting

Comparing from last weeks numbers, a massive increase in self-votes is seen above. While it is tempting to do this especially after @dimimp's generous SP delegation and since most of us are in this platform mainly to earn some money. Let us also not forget why we are given this delegation. We all have a responsibility. I then hereby request all members to reduce their self-voting to at least 30%.

This weeks Most Outstanding Space Force members goes to @mhizsophie. A big salute for her! With almost 3000 SP delegation, she was not tempted to do any self-voting. She managed to cast 82 upvotes, 76 of which are to different authors totalling to almost $36.838. And @shuta, who also was not tempted to do any self-votes even with his 1500 SP delegation. He managed to cast 92 votes, 80 of which are unique totalling to almost $30.887.

In second place is @lordjames who managed to cast 146 upvotes, 69 of which are to different authors totalling to almost $73.015, the highest total value upvote worth given to other authors by a Space Force member. He do have a little self-upvote percentage of 11.43%. Commendable!

Unto our fight to spammers, fishers, plagiarist and the likes. @lifeofdarlington is still leading the way with 38 casted downvotes. Very brave and well done!

To my followers, newcomers and even spectators reading this post. Steemjet currently have an ongoing contest to which I invite all of you to join:

Nice analysis
This will spur many
Did wish to see this from time to time

Awesome! Glad someone has the time and know how to provide a community monitor. This is one of the ways to ensure future success.

Would it be difficult to add a Steemhigh category?

E o Y n E
horizon

Eventually, at some point "known" or "verified" Steemjet authors. This would allow us to see the most popular authors.
:)

AVERT YOUR EYES IF YOUR SQUEAMISH OF THE WAY BUSINESS IS CONDUCTED IN THE SKY

I am certainly one of the least (but that is normal for me:). I found this to be true of most aviators. We are only popular in flight, but once we hit the ground, the local rich guy who owns the land around the airport takes all the money while we live in shacks until the next flight. Not the kind of future we want for our kids who trade their cars for flying vehicles. Alas, AI has a destiny to fly pilotless drones. We just need to keep the insurance people honest so that it does not start raining jets and copters.

(:

Will add a "steemhigh" category next report then :)

@jlordc with all due respect, have you checked my SV NOW? or it's the previous rating?
and from where you are getting those stats?

My SV was 30 in the last post but it's being dropped to 18, have a look at it again please :)

Hi @abdulmanan, to reiterate: The numbers above are taken from May 04 2018 to May 11 2018, which is like 2 WEEKS AGO. This is to ensure that "payout" has already been made to get an accurate recording of most numbers listed above.

Unto your other question, I am getting the data from SteemOcean, and I can assure you that it is close to accurate. For future reference, you can check yours here: http://steemocean.com/voter/abdulmanan . I would like you to check it every Saturday as I am planning on posting this weekly and I am only human and will most likely make a mistake in copying the data.

Since SteemOcean only store one week worth of data, when you visit the link above it might show another week of data. As seen below, the current data is taken from May 05 2018 to May 13 2018 and you now have a SV of 20.64%. That is why I urged you to check yours every Saturday as to make sure I am not making any mistakes when listing the numbers.

3.png

But I came prepared for queries like this, you can check what you have voted on this link:
https://mysteemitfriends.online/articlelist.php?voter=abdulmanan&date=2018-05-04&toDate=2018-05-11

If you go over that link you will see everything you have voted from May 04 2018 to May 11 2018.

You can try to manual count it or put it on an excel. But either way I counted it and you upvoted 125 posts (+2 difference from the numbers above as the snapshot was probably taken an hour late or early). 51 of which are self-votes. I hope this answers your questions :)

Thanks for clarifying the things :)

Np and thanks for taking the time to check your stats :)

It was also my mistake for not clarying where the numbers are coming from, so I might have had to add that next time :)

You are doing great.job!
Keep it up!

great job, i hope many takes the data from here to adjust their activities.

Thanks! And I hope so too :)

You have done hard work to maintain this chart,
Thanks for the Service Dear

Once again, thank you

No problem! Good Luck! And welcome to Steem Jet :)

Lifeofdarlington is clearly the life of downvotes here

@jlordc thanks for the stats. I am glad to be a member of the SteemJet Force. Big respect to the boss @Dimimp.

No problem! And yep, I have so much respect to dimimp. What he's doing is admirable. The least we could do for him is to spread the word about SteemJet in order to help more deserving others :)

Sure, I am drafting a proposal for steemJet which I will publish later.

Great! Looking forward to it:)
