The snack of today, has as its protagonist a fruit that many people like, a very healthy food and rich in good fats. The protagonist will be the avocado. Try a different hummus incorporating avocado and a smoky touch that is added to the paprika de la Vera, it can be with a good smoked olive oil. This recipe for hummus is easy to make, eye-catching but above all, delicious, with a spectacular texture.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour (for chickpeas, this can be several)
Serving size: For four people
Ingredients (4 people):
- 200 grams of cooked chickpeas
- 200 grams of avocado (without bone or skin)
- 2 soup spoon of tahini
- 2 garlic cloves roasted in the oven
- ½ lemon squeezed
- 30 grams approximately of extra virgin olive oil
- 30 grams of smoked olive oil
- 2 sprigs of fresh coriander
- 1 coffee spoon of paprika from Vera spicy
- ½ coffee spoon of cumin powder
- freshly ground black pepper
- Salt
- shichimi togarashi.
Preparation:
Put the cooked chickpeas (once cold) and drained in the blender glass, incorporate the avocado once peeled and separated from the bone.
Add the tahini or sesame paste and the roasted and peeled garlic cloves, these should be prepared in advance. As always, we recommend that when you make a baked recipe, take advantage of preparing ingredients like this one. If you do not have it done, you can make this hummus with a clove of raw garlic.
Then add the lemon juice, half the extra virgin olive oil and the smoked olive oil, the coriander leaves, the paprika, the cumin, the black pepper and salt to taste. Add chickpea cooking broth as needed, start by putting small amount and adding as needed.
Crush until you get a fine and shiny cream, the unctuousness of the avocado will favor it. Test and rectify salt if necessary. You can add a little harissa or chili powder if you want it to be more spicy.
Finishing and presentation, Pour the chickpea and avocado hummus into a bowl and add a bit of shichimi togarashi, a string of extra virgin olive oil (previously reserved), and some coriander leaves. Serve with pita bread, naan bread, toast... to taste. Bon Appetite!
My dear friends this has been the whole recipe, I hope you like it, thanks for taking a little of your time to read it, I hope you dare to prepare this snack and get something delicious that you can share with friends, couples or even to indulge yourself at any time, and the creaminess of this plus the avocado will give you an incredible result !. Happy day!
