Ingredients:
To make an avocado sandwich you will need:
- Bread.
- 1/4 of ripe avocado
- 1 egg.
- 2 or 3 slices of York ham.
- 1 or 2 slices of cheese
- 1/2 tomato cut into thin slices.
- Salt, pepper and olive oil.
How to make an avocado sandwich
- In the list of ingredients I have not been very specific with the type of bread for a very simple reason, you can use the one you like most without any problem.
1) Crush the avocado until mashed, To begin, we open the avocado and remove approximately 1/4 of the pulp with the help of a spoon. Next we crush it in a bowl with the help of a fork until making a puree. Hence, the avocado must be ripe, if you can not finish with half cutlery before getting it.
When it is ready we add a pinch of salt and we can even give it a citrus touch with a splash of lime or lemon juice.
2) We toasted the bread and began to assemble the sandwich, With the avocado already ready, it is time to toast the bread that we are going to use for the sandwich. When it is golden add a splash of olive oil and then add the avocado, the half tomato cut into thin slices, the ham of York and the slices of cheese.
If you have a microwave with grill you can put what we have a sandwich for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese.
3) Fry the egg and ready to eat,To finish, fry the egg in the pan as we like and put it on the cheese. If we have not gone through the grill the heat of the egg will make it melt a little.
