Having been invested in Steem for over two years I am happy to see Steem pumping again today. Sometimes crypto never makes sense as with all the power downs and selling you would not expect this. This tells me that there are users buying up more Steem and protecting what they have which is great to see.
I believe that Steem and Hive can co exist and there is not just a choice of one. There is room for everyone and they will both do well even if they move further apart from what each offers. I believe and always have believed Steem was way undervalued for what it was and should never be languishing below $1. Dropping from over $8 at it's highest down to 11 cents was a roller coaster and surely it has to go back up again at some point.
The markets don't seem to care what happens on the block chain and today's price movement goes against everything one would think. I have struggled to log into Steem over the last few weeks as the block chain hasn't been performing normally and has had some issues. As a business this wouldn't be good but the price on the exchanges don't worry about that sort of thing and is totally about the coin and not the block chain.
This is positive for the future of Steem and why I am going to stay staked on Steem and Hive. I think one would be silly to get caught up emotionally as if you want to be successful you have to also go with your gut. Who knows where the price will be as I believe all crypto will benefit from the coming recession/depression we are about to enter. This is not going to be like what we had a few years ago, but far worse and this is uncharted territory.

This is Justin Sun who by acting alone and having investments in both currencies is waiting for the right moments to sell and buy in a much smarter way than the outgoing community...
