The Bonds of STEEM

Vitalik Buterin recently praised the Steem Blockchain and its community. He mentioned the technology but he more importantly mentioned that there is an active community using the technology behind the Steem Blockchain as well. Although the Steem Price might not reflect the STRENGTH behind the community, all the amazing on going and thriving projects here on the Steem Blockchain do show a resilient crypto-community.

There are so many awesome projects going on here Like SteemMonsters/Splinterlands, 3Speak, Steempeak, Esteem, Partiko, Steem-Engine, and so many many more. This is what Vitalik most likely envies, besides the technology. The Steem Blockchain is actually being put to real world use, especially with many successful projects like the ones mentioned above, but also by many other projects that are meant to help support other individual members of the Steem Blockchain.

The Steem Blockchain has taken back the ethos that has been hijacked from the crypto-community and blockchain. The Banks and Wallstreet have now entered into the crypto-world, bringing with them the financial chaos that usually ensues after their arrival. The Steem Blockchain empowers each and every one of its members to be self-reliant and self-sufficient. Each member can forge his own destiny as well as can help other community members forge theirs as well. This interlinking through the power of Social Media and crypto-currency creates the powerful bonds to the blockChain that Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum, so desires.

In our last efforts to strengthen the bonds of the Steem Blockchain, my expectations were just blown away by how strong we really are as a crypto-community. Initially, I was slightly disappointed because I really wanted SteemLove to make a difference in a positive way for @drutter 's selfless efforts. His project, MISSION: Agua-Possible, is gathering up enough funds to buy a much needed water pump for a fellow Steemian in Venezuela.

Grateful for everyone's upvotes and support for the SteemLove post, which so far has gathered about 28 Steem Author rewards, I decided to transfer 30 Steem to @drutter for the MISSION:Agua-Possible Project on behalf of the SteemLove Project. I went to verify that I correctly sent the funds to @drutter 's walltet. Lo and behold, I noticed that other Steemians had also forwarded their own STEEM funds to @drutter in support of the MISSION:Agua-Possible project. @xpilar and @sultan-aceh showed their SteemLove by sending some Steem in support of MISSION:Agua-Possible. I believe a few others did as well, and as in usual form, did so without saying a word; @kunschj . I firmly believe that Vitalik envies these ever stronger growing bonds that link the Steem Blockchain community.

SteemLove from the Steem Magi

Now to give support and show some SteemLove to another member of the Steem Blockchain. Nominated by an earlier recipient of SteemLove, @denissemata has now nominated the next recipient of the community's SteemLove @mirianmg , a member of the Steem community since March 2018 and now also a new Mom. This young woman's newborn son will be among the first children to grow up on the Steem Blockchain. In a way, We all here on the Steem Blockchain get to be this child's Fairy Blockchain God parents or Steem Magi bringing the Gift of Steem Tokens.

How Amazing is That! Again, what Blockchain can come close to saying that? I would bet 50 Steem there are no other blockchains this privileged or special.

What other Blockchain can say that its community members help empower each other in this manner? Personally, I think We here on the Steem Blockchain would have made Satoshi Nakamoto quite proud if he were still around!!
