I get the above error when I login. I use your app on a Xiaomi Mi5. I can see my profile and my wallet. But cannot post, vote or reply.

Thanks for feedback, are you sure you are using username without "@" ?
Try in username: pakisnxt and in password use your steemit login password. Let me know if it works, try logout first and relogin again.

I use pakisnxt without "@" and for password I use my privatekey for posting. I have tried repeatedly with the same results. I will have to try it with some other android device and report back.

Thanks for pointing that out. I think if there is a need, I can make this work with both password and private keys. Added to features list!

Yes congrats on your release good karma. Hats off for making it open source too. I think having support for private keys is a very urgent one :) why wouldnt it work if u use the websocket it should work out of the box with wif instead of password?

No private key for posting doesn't work for login, use your same login credentials to login on app. Later on we can add login with only private key, for now use, same credentials you use on steemit.com to app.

@good-karma -- ran into an issue where the 'sort by' pop-up screen does not close when clicked outside the field. Got stuck on top of the screen, had to restart app.

Also, when I searched for eSteem in the iOS App Store, it didn't show up. Had to copy and paste the URL link into my phone to download.

Awesome work! You deserve major props for this!

update: had a crash when I clicked on Profile > Replies button on the bottom screen; you want found bugs reported here or in github or something?

Yes, it will take 24 hours for app to be available for search throughout AppStore. As for this small issues, please bear with me. Those issues are already fixed and available on Android with more functionality. Choosing one other option should close the popup. Only very first version for iOS was to see if app passes the proper review. Note: App internal or external testing review is way easier than actual Store release review and that's why it took 18+ days. So now we know for sure and app is available for real. I will push those changes to iOS as well. Have you checked other posts what improvements we have after v1.0.0, if no take a look please there are quite some major changes. Thanks for the support!

Thanks Tyler! Just wanted to point out, this first version of iOS is far behind in terms of development updates. But it gives me confidence now that I can deliver what I promised and constant updates will start to flow for iOS users as well. Not as frequent as Android though. But wow it felt like waiting for ages...

Hey @good-karma I finally got around to downloading it and it opens the splash screen and then goes to a white page and does nothing else. I am on an iPhone 6+ iOS 8.1.4 and I think you may have deployed this for iOS 9.0+ so I'm guessing that's the issue?

Thanks for coming back with feedback, Tyler! That's strange though, app is supported iOS 8.0+ and it should work normal. Have you tried to restart or re-download? It would be helpful to get more details. I will take a note and see if anyone else reports same issue.

@good-karma Of course! I believe @konelectric has the same issue as well. Not sure what iOS he is running. I Just noticed that iTunes has the app tagged for iOS 9+ (to the right beside the app name) so I'm thinking this is the issue. Maybe a deployment setting you can change?

Just downloaded it. Very nice job!
This is going to make the mobile experience so much smoother.
One thing I am noticing is that not all formatting that I did in one of my posts is translating properly in mobile. Looks fine on the site, but the mobile app is having issues with it.

Some font sizing, as well as dividing lines. Also the code for SoundCloud doesn't show up at all.

Yes, as I mentioned in post this is initial release for iOS was submitted to review 20+days ago and review took long time and during that time we had number of updates that affected only Android users, since Google Play review takes couple of hours. I have pushed those changes to iOS as well, you should have update as soon as review is done.

Are you on Android or iOS? As of last update Android should have edit post option, but iOS doesn't have that update yet. As for SoundCloud I just checked out Android, it seem to show and play on me. I will push few improvements on Monday.

What's the Android version and Phone name?
Perhaps I can benchmark it to see what is slowing it down. Also have you tried Compact View mode, if phone is slow to fetch data, it can be because of data connection to load images. Steemit.com caches images that's why you don't notice re-download of images on site.

Actually I thought about Windows Phone and Windows 10 Store and it should be possible to port app to that store. And hopefully once I obtain certificate there, I will push it on Windows stores, as well.

Definitely would not be hard especially if you have Xamarin, and visual studio. Big plus is you only have to design one app for windows 10 that will reach phones, tablets and pc. I think it would be a great idea to make it, and it's not hard to get a dev certificate from them either.

Thank you for the app. It looks and feels nice and smooth. It's very easy to navigate through. I really like the compact view. Good job!

I'm using an Iphone 6Plus

When I clicked on the profile area the app, it stopped working for a bit.
Is the comment section of a post, only sorted by new? Is there an option to sort it by trending, active, and updated?
Can we have the option to click on the hastags of the post during the next update?
Will there was a way to isolated mobile postings in the future? I'm sure there will be an increase in quick mobile messages. It would be nice if we could isolated those from the regular feed.
We can't add a story yet. :(

Thank you for the feedback. As I noted this was very first version to see if passes the Apple review. App already have most of this functionality which you mentioned. Hashtag yes they are now available click and open related posts. Commenting, posting is available and will be pushed to next update. Currently latest Android version sorts comments by upvotes and payout, this can be changes to make it dynamic for sure.

Tried it out on my iPhone 6, got a bit of feedback (maybe these points are already addressed in the newer Android version?):

Interface is nice, but it needs to have a landscape mode, especially for typing replies to posts. I just can't type fast in portrait mode.
Is there a way to view your feed? I couldn't figure out how to do it.
Italic text doesn't render properly in posts.
Would be awesome if you could implement a favorites / bookmarks feature. I often come across interesting posts and either don't have the time to read them completely, or want to re-read them again later for reference. It's painful trying to remember how to navigate back to those posts later on.

Thank you taking time and coming back with feedbacks!

Landscape mode will be enabled in next updates, although it should already be working, will check.
Feed was added later on, and is available right now on Android and next update shall have it along with profile refined pages and profile picture changes.
Just noticed it, thanks for pointing out, will make changes in upcoming versions.
Thanks for suggestions and I think Bookmarks/Favorites is great feature and I will work on this as soon as possible.
