Day 2 and couldn't complete the quest

Numerous battles ... I can't count how many... But the death splinter always makes me disappointed.

It was with the fire splinter.. It was good as I think now. But I request a new quest and this happens. I don't know where the problem is. I bought another two cards two make my team strong. Those cards are valuable and strong. But I couldn't make it. Sorry figure. .....

Why the quest never request water or life splinter? Earth is also Ok(i am weak there too)...
