I got two Gold Foils, an Epic and a Legendary! Booyah! This was from a season reward a bit over a week ago.

Basically the two gold foils are worth more than the regular versions, they're only commons though so not worth a whole lot. But the legendary is worth a couple bucks and the epic maybe 20-30 cents. Not bad for rewards.
If steem gains some decent adoption and doesn't fizzle out over the next few years we could see some very nice prices on some of the more rare cards.

'Rare' digital items, isn't that an interesting concept? I'm reminded of 2 related concepts:
If we can truly make a digital item rare (scarce), it's value goes up. There are 2 things that give an item value to humans: scarcity and usefulness.
