Can one win with green SteemMonsters?
I know I certainly struggle... looking at my battle stats, I won just 6 of my last 50 games (and then only once I dipped into the lower league < 1,000 against some really weak opponents)... so who knows how many games I played to finish my green quest (I started it yesterday, and spent the entire morning losing games before finishing Lyanna's quest - i.e. win 10 games playing green).
Contrast that with my black deck, and I think that I play about 14-15 games in order to complete a "Win 10 games playing black" quest, it would be a lot. Similarly Red, Blue & White are ~50/50 win-lose ratio.
So... the question is:
Does green just suck in SteemMonsters?
Or does MY GREEN STRATEGY just suck?
What gives green advantage over the other colours? Rexxie (and the other 'big' green monsters) barely last 1 or 2 rounds, so the high-health offers little or no benefit... and I think I've seen my Stonesplitter's retaliate come into play maybe 5 times in the last 50 games.
What am I missing?
Please let me know... I'm really thinking I should just avoid the green quests from now on... and well... that would obviously suck.

To me it seems the high life cards come with too great a mana cost. I always try to get as many cards as possible to increase chances of winning. The hardest to fight is death because you already start at a handicap.

I agree that their mana costs are a problem... so I tried a "swarm" approach as well... with 2 or 3 (1/2 attack & 1/2 health) instead of 1 "big monster"... and got my ass handed to me just as easily :P
I think green's problem lies in the lack of "abilities"... I've noticed with my other decks that these are often the "deciders" in a battle. Stonesplitter's with it's retaliate could have been so cool.. except that it hardly ever triggers :-(
Maybe the tide will change when I get enough green monsters to level them to levels 3 & 4... but at levels 1 & 2 I'm just not having any luck.
