We've just got a preview of the changes for Season 4 of the Steem Monsters.
While I understand the reason behind all the changes, I can't help but regret I haven't joined SM earlier. I expect beta cards to rise in price considerably, now that there won't be any way to earn them freely, on the SM site. At least not via the daily quest and regular seasons.
I like the idea that daily quest amount of rewards should be differentiated by league.
Unless I'm missing something, cards from the Reward Edition will be quite cheap on the market (unless very rare), because they can be obtained for free, unlike any other card going forward.
Newcomers (like me) will probably have to pay top dollars (or crypto) to rise in the game. I understand the reason for the changes, but again I wish I started earlier. I certainly didn't mine anything, which again place those who did in a better position now.
I'm sure the best decisions are and will be taken in the future, because Steem Monsters rocks!
