There are several reasons where buying gold foil cards can be better option than buying regular cards. It cost less cards to level up gold foils. There are tournaments with big prizes where only gold foil cards can be used and l think that these tournaments are easier compered to other tournaments because of the low entries. Gold foil cards are more scarce than regular cards which can cause price increase in the future.
