FLORA: a colorful plant

Olah Steemians!

Sharing a photo again. Please take a look at it.
Wondering what this is? Me too, I’ve been wondering because these plants have been in my Mom’s little garden in front of our house for a long time, they keep on growing. I really didn’t know the name but I do now. My mom has a green thumb, she could easily grow plants, succulents, and different types etc.
No wonder they don’t wither.

“Lantana Camara”

I searched on the net about this plant, it is said to be a medicinal plant. “Lantana Camara” is the name. There are almost 40 species of the genus Lantana. Why I think it’s beautiful, maybe because of our visual perception that it is really colorful. Flowers are pink, yellow and orangey type. In Chinese, it’s called Maying-Tan and in Spanish, it’s called Coronitas. Beautiful isn’t it? But there are some species of these that are very unpleasant to livestock. Some considered this as shrub and it’s a waste to the sorroundings. But as for the environment, looking at the colorful flowers, this plant could add colors.
