Internet connection interrupted

Yesterday, we purchased a carpet for our new flat and scheduled to fix it on Wednesday. After buying for the carpet, we went straight to Etisalat, one of the internet providers here in UAE to inquire for the shifting of the internet. We have talked with our fellow Filipino agent. She was really accommodating. We also told her that we wanted the transfer of the account on Thursday. We booked it ahead because we thought that booking it before the scheduled time will not interrupt our internet service for even for a day but only to find out that after our request for a transfer, our internet was disconnected too. We immediately called the service agent because one of the needs of OFWs like us is having an internet connection. The agent was really sorry for not informing us that if we request for a transfer of the internet connection, it will be automatically disconnected so we asked for a reconnection again which she told us would take 4 hours BUT until now, we don't have an internet connection at the house. That's the sad part.

Having no internet connection has pros and cons for me. I got more time with my little one last night, playing with him without the help of his iPad but the horror came when he wanted it before bedtime. We didn't have enough sleep for weeks and tired from packing things and to add to our already tired bodies, there was no internet connection to help our son fall asleep so he ended sleeping at 3:00 AM.

We got 2 days left for the shifting of the house and our bodies needs before that big day comes. Ahh, I feel the need to throw up thinking of the things to do on Thursday.
