Cryptocurrency exchange ABCC is the first to list tokens from Tron's TRC10 protocol. This was announced by ABCC and confirmed by Tron's CEO Justin Sun. Groups behind each of the tokens is open to talk with the exchange about the possibility of listing them.
TRC10 is the 'simplest' type of token within the Tron network, as it does not use Tron Virtual Machine. TRC20 is a more complex system that enables smart contracts, which is fully compatible with Ethereum's ERC20 tokens. TRC10 tokens are often used to measure interest in a project. When an idea lifts off, they can potentially be converted into TRC20 tokens.
Having a look at the list of TRC10 tokens, could give you a headache. There's so much nonsense on the network it's unbelievable. Among all those shitcoins there are actually some tokens used for actual projects. TronWatchMarket (TWM) is a decentralized exchange, while CyberTron (CTRX) is a DEX that runs on Telegram and BeatzCoin (BTZC) is a project surrounding digital media.
Anybody with 1024 TRX in their wallet can create their own TRC10 token on the Tron blockchain. This feature has led to a great amount of nonsense tokens on the Tron blockchain, including a bittorrent token. This was the reason why Tron changed its rules and allowed tokens with the same name of coexist, because Tron and BitTorrent launched their own token called BTT.
