I just realized on the steem blockchain that most of the whales have stop posting and they are now delegating to Dapps so that they will get daily rewards from the dapps. So those who post on the blockchain is mostly the minnows on the blockchain which is also not good. If we want to grow the platform all the whales should start posting or they can start curating post and give users daily reward so that it will motivate them to post more. Because most of the users do post quality post but dont get rewards on their post which make them feel that they are wasting their time but if we should get whales who curate post and reward users alot of them will post and make sure to post more. I think we all should try and think about this and know how we will go about that.

When I joined, about 2 years ago, I remember how pleased I felt when a post of mine had a sudden increase in reward, because a whale passing by dropped an upvote of about 30Steem.
Being naive, it was not the money that pleased me; I thought of his upvote as being an indication of his liking for my post (a story).
Now I know they just did it more or less at random as they mostly cannot be bothered to read any of our posts.
I do not blame them. After all, they did not become whales because of their love of culture or because of a talent for writing; painting; photography or anything such. No, they have a talent in coding, plus the knowledge to quickly see the opportunities before most of us did, so they were the first to join and the first to push up their SP while it was still easy and nobody expected much of them.
I will admit that there are the exceptions; there are some who have a good ability at writing or photography...but they are the exception that proves the rule.
So, do not waste time dreaming - after all, HF21 was openly created to only benefit them, it s rigged so that small earners earn less because they are small earners; so why should they suddenly change?

Surely you are right, but whales are mostly investores.
That is happening also to whales when they post, lack of economic efficiency. A lot work, few income.
Interest rates as an investor, on the other hand, are reasonable.
Someone posting on Steem is an idealist, maybe a hobby or just fun.
With HF 21 just arrived voting on a large scale has become significantly more economical, so hopefully there will be more vote activity bit by bit.
