It’s been 9 long months since Vornix started offering a full-featured Wordpress installation for steemians to blog on. Since then, we had had over 300 users with at least 100 active daily bloggers contributing great blog posts to the Steem blockchain using Vornix wordpress and the @steempress plugin. We hope everyone had enjoyed blogging on a hosted Wordpress provided by @vornix.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. We are announcing the closure of Vornix.blog and all of its Wordpress services. Several factors played into this decision including, but not limited to, the crypto bear market and the quality of our host provider.
What you need to do?
Vornix.blog will officially shut down on 1st June 2019. You will have around 3 months to migrate your wordpress blog out of Vornix.blog. If you do not intend to migrate, you can also choose to start afresh your wordpress blog, with a custom domain name.
@vornix will not backup or retain any of your wordpress settings or content. On the closure date, all content and data will be permanently removed from the hosting server. You will be entirely responsible for your own data, if you wish to keep or migrate them.
Once again, we thank you for supporting Vornix.blog the past year. We hope you can continue your Wordpress blogging journey and continuing creating amazing articles.
It indeed a saddening announcement. Anyway like a Chinese proverb says :天下无不散之筵席. Thanks for the good service this long.

This is very sad news. I know I don't always post from my blog, but it's a great platform for sharing to Steemit. I do hope that someone picks up this service. I am resteeming in the hope that someone will.
