The purpose of this post is to provide confirmation that I, @shanibeer, have entered into formal written agreement with the SteemPower Investment Club by way of meeting conditions and agreeing with the partnership agreement set in place in this post published on the STEEM blockchain on 24 August 2019. This confirmation shall be stored on the STEEM blockchain.
Steem powered investments @spinvest has been set up to offer an investment club based on funding from STEEM POWER. Investments are funded through extracting value out of STEEM POWER and taking advantage of the high inflation rate. The aim is not to get rich quick; the aim is to build a safe portfolio of investments that will stand the test of time while insuring all investors' starting capital is not at risk.

Why I'm Investing in SPInvest
At the time of writing, I'm one of the top five investors in SPInvest.
I was interested in it the first day I came across a post about it, and watched carefully for several days. I wanted to know who was behind it and did I rate them. Within a day or two, the founder, @silverstackeruk, wrote a post explaining about the work he had done in the #steemsilvergold community over the past two years.
One of the things that impressed me was a clearly set out growth plan and clear objectives about the purpose of the Investment Club. It's not a get rich quick plan. On the contrary, it's a get rich slowly and with as low as possible risk plan.
Since then, @silverstackeruk has set out more of his ideas and thinking, starting with creating a formal Investment Club with a partnership agreement and then, in the long-term, becoming incorporated. There are consistent holdings and earnings reports every week, and fully-documented transaction trails for buying investments or group fiat-to-steem buys.
SPInvest reached its first target of 10k token sales within four weeks; it's just about to hit the second target of 25k token sales in eight weeks. Last week, the fund recorded its first 1k steem earnings since its inception. Latest @spinvest results.
Although nearly 70% of tokens are held by the top six investors, this is an opportunity for small savers and investors. By putting aside a small amount each week, perhaps the price of a cup of coffee, or trading coins earned through steem-engine tribes, or maybe buying one token each time a post pays out, everyone has the opportunity to be an investor.
It's a club, with a community.
As with any investment, there are risks. You can manage those by reading the posts on the @spinvest account, researching the other investors (you can find them all through steemworld.org/@theirusername) and asking questions.

Actually I still don't know what it is and why and what the risk is. I wonder if it is a good thing if most is in hands of only a few. We already see that at steemit.
If those few leave/sell or whatever they can do with their savings the risk is for those who invested the money for their cup of coffee (I only drink water).
For now I save this post till I have a better connection and sight.

i will surely have to look into the partnership agreement more in detail. this seems like an interesting project, and one with which has some serious substance and backing. I recently sent steem directly to spinvest to get my hands on some phase 2 tokens, but may want to turn from investor to member given the explosive growth spinvest has seen so far.

I've been investing a little bit every week for the last 4 weeks, after seeing your initial posts, and did so more on the basis of what you'd written rather than the official posts.
I had a quick look at the post you linked to but I'm not sure what the benefits of being a member versus just an investor are? Is it just that member's get voting rights etc., i.e. have influence over how the club is run?

That's correct, the main benefit of becoming a member is that you get voting rights and have a say in how the club is run, what investments are made, whether dividends are paid out etc.
Saving a little bit each week is a really good idea :)

The financial side of this stuff really challenges me. I'm just talking to someone about buying DEC for potions for SM and I've had to leave it because I'm starting to get tearful.
