A few months ago we sold a property that belonged to my great grand mother (yes, the mother of my grandmother), and since we needed to remove every single one of the stuff in order to leave the property empty and be able to sell it, we started to discover a lot of stuff that we didn't knew were there.
We found a lot of cool items that are forbidden in my country.
We found real bullets, a gun, and the items I am going to show today, silver coins.
In my country the currency is called bolivares, and in the past they were made out of silver.
I will be sharing with the community every single one of the silver coins we discovered there (and we still have more coins to search, because the silver coins are mixed with regular coins, so we need to really check every single one to not miss any silver). Today, I wanted to show this one that so far is the oldest one we have. It is from 1904!!
Since it is a very old coin, it is not in the best state, still, it is worth keeping it.
Here you can see the face of Simon Bolivar the Liberator, who was the leader who freed Venezuela from the Spanish empire, that is why the currency in Venezuela is called "Bolivares".
In next entries I will be showing other silver bolivares we have that are more recent and therefore, in better state.
Thanks for reading!

Old coins are the most interesting.
Be sure to hold onto that silver, as silver will be $1000 US$ / ounce here in a couple years.
