Numismatic Friends! Have you seen this before?

I found a 2000 Massachusetts (P) quarter while coin roll hunting that was in near perfect condition but had no reeded edges. It was smooth as a babies bum, but still had a rim to both sides. It has no visible evidence of shaving either.

Is this an error? Does it have any value over 25 cents?

You should, before doing anything, search for this kind of error on Ebay and on some of the Internet auctions/dealers. It is a circulated coin, so the value will be less than the coins you will find, normally graded, but you will have an idea of value.

I've never seen anything like it the clading is off also I would say it is worth more then face but not an expert on errors

I hadn't either .. may pop it on eBay and see what happens.

Way cool if nothing else!
