Hunting for treasure

Well it's Monday and it's a warm one. There was nothing going on and I was looking for something to do. I remembered we had a hand held metal detector. I checked to see if it worked and the batteries were still good. I got some tools together. Spoon and knife for digging and some duct tape.

I found a stick and this is where the duct tape will be used.

Now it's time to go treasure hunting.

Found something. Time to dig.

My first find. A bullet casing.

Now it's time to show my treasures I found.

I found a couple of screws, a couple of bullet castings, a 22 live bullet, rust chunks from our old truck and the large thing is a leaf spring off of a trailer. No silver or coins. ☹️

I did get thirsty after all that walking and digging. Happy Memorial day to everyone!
