Funn Money

Look at Thomas Jefferson all happy to have made it on the US $2 bill.

The Third President of the US seems to be saying "look what I did" and/or "take that George"

Unfortunately, the $2 is not so common anymore

Somewhere along the way, some tool wrote Porsche across the top which was either what his car was or a stripper he knew. The bill would be much better without the graffiti but I would rather have it "penned" up than not at all. Lol

These are the 1953's.

I like the Monticello back. It is quite dark and unique. This back was on until 1966

1976 $2 bills showing Declaration of Independence back.

Thank you may I have another?

Here is George Washington. He is saying "bring it on Tommy boy. I have much more circulation than you do". GW also throws in "by the way kid, most Americans don't know if you are real money hahaha".

1943 Steel wheat pennies. They were made during the big war when all the copper went to bullet making.

They could make these steelies out of an old jeep or steel can or some other piece of junk.

Look at Abraham Lincoln saying "I may be small but I am on both the $5 bill and the copper penny and the steel penny!"

So cool ! I didn't know there were ever $2 bills in the US !!!

And that steel wheat pennies, aaah, i guess steel was the go to metal if copper wasn't available? What a time it must have been.... I can't help but think about all those bullets.... Aaaah

I was reading today that $2 bills are still being produced. They are not generally circulated and have to be asked for specifically at a bank. I also read that they are cheaper to produce than ones...guessing because only half as many would need to be printed to make the same amount?

@naltedtirt wow those red 2 dollar bills seem quite rare.. I got one once in circulation but lost it I'm afraid.

I saw when I was posting yesterday that some are very rare. I think mine are maybe worth $2.50 or less.
