Silver at spot? You Damn Right

Now come on, you didn't think I was gonna let this Friday Beatdown slip by me did you? Hell no, got off work, swong by the house, picked up the boy and we were off. Silver below $16.00 has to be taken advantage of.

See the Brockman household knows how to play the Manipulation game. So we walked in and went stright to the counter, they where busy. Most of the customers where selling not buying, so it took a little while for someone to come to the counter. This gave us time to scope out the product. Codey leaned over and said " lets do constitutional"

Now we have done the 90% tactic, today we went after the 40%er. I had a feeling that he may have been sitting on the 40%ers for a long time. So he finally came to the counter and asked what we wanted to see, I said I think we wants some halves. He immediately pulled out the 90%ers, at this point I knew this was gonna work. I said no, I think we want some 40%ers. He looked at me like I was crazy, he said "you sure? I said yep, I think so.

So lets talk about price, he said how about $4.90 per dollar, so I did a quick glance over what he had, didnt look like he had more than $40 dollars at face values, so I said, I'll take all of them for $4.65 per dollar. He wasn't even hesitant, he said You sure you want all of them? I said yes sir.

Ended up with a few good ones that where not worn much. I was off a little, he ended up selling us $44.50 in face value, over 13 oz of silver all for the low price of $207.00. Which actually puts this buy at 5 cents below spot

So I would have to say, 5 cents below spot at a smackdown price, hell yeah,Game won!!!

            Nice score, any silver at spot is a good deal! I think my LCS hates buying 40% because I have seen the same stuff in his case for a year.

            Nice Ray! It sounds like you guys are getting killer deals. Silver is silver no matter if its 40% or 90%! I got lucky and found 12-90% and 1-40% in a roll from a bank a week or so ago.

            Killed it!!! I love collecting the 40% & 90% coins. My wife comes home from work with tons of change of which I find catharsis in searching for my precious.
            Do you stack coins below the $0.50 piece? I keep the quarters. Your thoughts on stackin change would be greatly appreciated.

              I only have 90% junk but following your example I will look for 40% also. I might make a good deal like yours...
