Complete Guide to using UPVOTING bots. Why and how to use them!! #189

in steemsilvergold •  7 years ago  (edited)

So we all know about upvoting bot's and what they do but which is the best one consistently? Im this post, i am going to give feedback from my own experience's of using a few different upvoting bot's. I will try you which ones i use for every post and how i use others to boost my posts to the topish of the page rank.

How Upvote bots work and how to use them

Ok, so its as easy as making pie. You check the rules for the bot, go to your wallet, enter make a transfer using SBD, copy paste your posts URL in the memo section, enter the bot's account name, enter in the amount you want to send and hit transfer. The tricky part is knowing how much to transfer/bid depending on what service you are using. Most upvotes bot will have a bidding service were you are bidding on a percentage of a 100% upvote from that bot. This will involve a vote at 100% being made every 2.4 hrs and that vote being split into shares for the bidders. EG, if a bot has a $100 upvote and 3 people bid during the 2.4 hrs, let say number 1 @$25, number 2 @$15 and number 3 @$10. The bot will have collected $50 for its upvote. The payouts would be number 1 getting 50% upvote for $50, number 2 getting 30% upvote for $30 and number 3 getting 20% upvote for $20. Some of the smaller bots also do this but they might have 1.2 hr bidding windows and the upvotes worth much less. The last type is the instant upvoting bot, this is a bot were you either send a fixed are up to you amount of SBD to receive an instant upvote which is normally very consistent. This is the type i use the and requires least work.

Lets get into it with the bots i have used,

  • @bellyrub - This a bot that makes a 100% bid every 2.4 hrs. The bot falls into 2 place for usage with me, it's not like i think its great, its just handy compared to others. I have had alot of upvotes lose money they miss alot of bids, 3 of my last 4 needed done manually after having to ask on chat for them. The customer service is good which is hard to get, the bot owners dad a is a witness who helps to fund the bot and he always sort's everyone out within 12 hrs. I guess the problem is they have became to popular are needing to grow quickly to ensure the service is still profitable for their users. The did start out very small and have boomed the last month are so. I last used this around 1 ago and will just watch for SP for a while. As if writing, they have a upvote worth $51.62. The suggested bid for this bot is around 1-2 SBD

  • @booster - This is another bidding bot for an upvote every 2.4 hrs. This bot is tricky, its seems it better to use it at certain times of the day. For me, when i wake up at 4.30am GMT. There is a ROI tool that someone has made to show you in live time what your bid would be worth. I have used this service a few times, it hard to get it into profit after paying our curation but the ROI tool ally helps with that. http://steem.cool/booster/ by @blueorgy.The bot at time of writting has a $83.24 upvote. Suggested min bid would be around $1.50SBD

  • @randowhale - This is the only bot i will use for every single post. It is an instant bot with a fixed amount and it always pays out at least break but normally more even after 25% curation. For a 0.50SBD transfer, you will receive a 0.80-1.00 upvote. This bot is always sleeping to recharge voting power. This means you might only catch it awake every few days meaning you need to upvote like 6-10 posts at 1 time. Its worth it, very rarely misses a bid and has a good auto refund setup for when you trtansfer when the bot is sleeping are transfer the wrong amount. The have recently changed the service to cost 1.00 SBD/Steem per upvote with a upvote worth $38.97. Send 1sbd to randwhale with post url

  • @minnowbooster - This is a daddy bot, this is a bad boy i use when i what posts to get noticed like weekly updates are #steemsilvergold stuff. It is an instant bot that has always be profitable for me and gets my post boosted in the trending section. When using this bot, you will need to check the bots last post to see what the rules are, they change them alot testing ways to give the best return for investment to users. They also have weekly usage limits for users to ensure poeple dont overuse the service making ti better for everyone. In general, i will send $5 to this bot for a $8-9 upvote. The bots upvote at the time of writing is $168.78. Suggested to check the bots last post before using.

  • @minnowsupport - This is a manual bot that is free to use and upvotes range from 20 to 60 cents. You have to sign up the bot through Discords PAL server, you can use the service once every 12 hours and all you do is enter the post's URL in the the channel to receive an upvote. Its a little work to set up, but if you are on Discord, why not? If you want to know how, ask me on Discord and i tell explain. The upvote amount is $6.05 but this is not a for profit bot, this is a group of community bots that support the PAL server.

Here are a few that i have not used but have seen others using

  • @lovejuice - Small bot have an update at the time of writing of £1.44 giving out bids every 2.4 hrs. Suggested bid amount is 0.1 - .02 SBD
  • @discordia- Another small bot with an upvote worth $0.98. Giving out bids every 2.4 hrs. Suggested bid amount 0.15 - 0.25 SBD
  • @drotto - This bots fires out upvotes every 3 mins with an upvote of $0.87. Suggested bid is 0.10 - 0.20SBD
  • @iamgrootbot - Great bot for minnow's starting out with bots, its gives good returns for small bids. Suggested bid amount is 0.005-0.010 SBD

So a quick dive into my thought process when using these upvoting bots

Never mind which service i am using, this is how i use these services to boost my post ranks, post income and SP. I select all my post to have a 50/50 reward split between SBD and SP. I use my SBD rewards for upvoting services and my rewarded SP goes towards growing my account. Its perfect and i am starting to see the growth kick in. When i started using these services around 2 months ago i was just using randowhale for every other post as that all the SBD i could afford, after a few weeks of getting better payouts, i was using randowhale for every post. I started using bellyrub on and off more and more, than i found minnowbooster. Its snowballing right now and i except my account balance to start growing a little faster. Using all 3 together and sometimes booster as well will get any post i make into the top 3-10 on the trending page of the steemsilvergold tag which attracts more people and followers and upvotes and resteems and all the good stuff that comes with having highly ranked posts. So, that is how i use these upvoting services to my advantage and how they are helping me grow my steemit SP over the long term.

I have yes, that is true. Thank you for the ROI @booster tool

Great work, very helpful. Thanks a lot. :)

Thanks buddy. I enjoyed making this post, it learned a few things myself :)

great post / upvoted... you should maybe keep posting / updating weekly... or i will steal idea from you and post/update it (-: actually now randowhale just increased to 1 SBD. other ones are @buildawhale (which i like) and @nettybot. minnowsupport for me now only gives about 10 cents, i usually don't bother

Yes the i used randowhale for 7-8 posts from they changed the price, still worth it. I did leave a few out, i could have added another 4-5 super small services but im a lazy man

You can steal it and update when you like, the more people doing more stuff they better. Nothing wrong with more than 1 person posting the same info buddy, you see how quickly posts disappear on here.
Hell, anyone is free to copy and paste any of my posts in part are full and that goes for my memes as well. Stack on my friend, thanks for commenting.
