Finds From The Drawer: Standing Liberty Quarters

in steemsilvergold •  7 years ago

Hello, hello friends and neighbors, today we are going to look at two standing liberty quarters. These are the two lowest denomination coins found in the magic drawer.

On top we have a 1928 with no mint mark and the bottom coin is a 1929 D

To the book we go...

Now I realize these are nowhere near mint state but I'm going to toss up the price chat anyhow, just for fun!

Instead of looking at this book, go to the site I gave you and look at the prices. You may be amazed by some prices, but remember that the prices are for slabbed coins by PCGS. The prices are what they think the market is selling to you, but you can find cheaper slabbed coins.

OK Ronaldo. I will do it when I am done with my little project...

I will return this book to the library tomorrow. Thanks for your input.

I love those coins. It is seldom that one comes across standing liberties and barbers that is in au condition! Those are really nice finds in the drawer!

Thanks, I do like them quite a bit. Hope you are enjoying the weekend @siversaver888.

😳😳😳😳

Nice finds brother. Use USAcoinbook for your prices. It’s more current.👍

Will do, this was one I checked out while I was waiting for the kids to pick their books. I'm gonna return it before @ronaldoavelino stops following me! 😅😂🤣

Oh! Be still my heart!

Anything that's silver with "LIBERTY" stamped in giant letters across the top, above and before all really makes my soul happy. I carry a 1941 Walking Liberty half in my wallet with me for that reason. People chuckle and think I have a condom in my wallet. It's a good conversation piece.

Hahaha, nice. Thanks for checking them out.
