Finds From The Drawer: Walking Liberty Half Dollars

I'm back with another find from the drawer. If you missed yesterday's post and you enjoy numismatic silver, check it out

As the title of today's post suggests, there are more finds from the desk drawer I cleaned out yesterday. I am super excited about it and also going a bit crazy as I don't have my US coin red book with me on this trip! 😢

Anyhow, I'm on my way today and can't wait to sort these bad boys out. Let's take a look at the goods...

This looks like the definition of "junk silver" if I'm not mistaken. I'm mostly a bullion guy but I have been getting more interested in numismatic collecting so you could imagine my surprise at this find.

As I said I will go through these one by one when I get home but if you see something special here drop your knowledge bomb down below. 💣
Thanks! Have a great weekend Y'all!

I love junk silver and you found a treasure drawer! This 1920 could be a delicious surprise if the mintmark (on the other side) is D or S. The others are apparently junk silver. Good luck! Check this site:

Hey @ronaldoavelino, thanks for showing up with the good info again! I really appreciate your input and I am headed over to your link now...

Wait wait, just checked the 1920 and the mint mark is an "S"! Screenshot_20180629-142845.png
The coin looks in pretty rough shape though....

Better to share a find from the drawer than a find from the drawers.

😄😄

Sounds like a fortune cookie 🥠

How about a drawer full of drawers? Tune in next week.

Do these drawers full of drawers also have coins in them? 🤔

Uhhhh, maaaybe....

My in-expert assessment is that those walkers kick-ass!

Dude, you're going to have to stop using all that technical jargon! 😊😅🤣

Bah ha ha!

I just know that the Walking Libert Half Dollars are a favorite of many stackers, including myself! Personally, I will take a Walker every time over the same quality Franklin or JFK.

I can see why. These are the first I've actually held, and they are beauties. Thanks for stopping by @siversaver888! Hope you have a great weekend.

Sweet score @summertooth. If you have any 1921 coins they bring the most. Here is a price guide you can check out. Walking Liberty Prices.

Oh thanks @vgholdingsllc. No 1921 in the group. Most are from the 40's. Here are the oldest 2

On the left is a 1918 (I think) and the right is a 1920. Both "S" mint marked. Thanks for your help buddy! I'm going to check your link now.

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold

Those are some fine walkers - really the sweet spot of halves to stack, better looking and not as costly as Barbers!

I'm finding that out as I really like the Barbers......
